Policy change gets
rid of Q grade
The Q grade, initiated in 2004, will
starting this fall no longer be an option for students and will be replaced
with a new policy that merges it with the W option.
SERCC still mostly a shell
Construction of the Science and Engineering
Research and Classroom Complex was supposed to help UH become one of the
top research centers in the nation.
Doubling up
For UH to become a flagship university,
more funding is needed to expand the University's research programs, UH
Vice President for Research Donald Birx said.
HAO leader bids UH farewell
The president and chief executive
officer of the Houston Alumni Organization will leave UH for Boston University
in May to accept a vice president position in Boston's alumni program.
