Campus Spotlight


TODAY

This workshop is for that guy who°Øs changed his major three times, has been in school for seven years and still lives with his mom. Or, in less extreme cases, for anyone who just hasn°Øt picked a major: University Career Services will hold a choosing a major workshop from 2 to 5 p.m. in Room 106, Student Service Center. For the ladies: Cougar Women at Work will hold a meeting from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the UC Satellite°Øs Women°Øs Resource Center. There will be a guest speaker, and the topic will be °°Manage your life, don°Øt let it manage you.°± For more information, call (713) 743-8156.

Krack it?: Alpha Epsilon Delta will hold a meeting with the director of admissions for the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and an ExamKracker instructor at 5:30 p.m. in the UC°Øs Pacific Room. It°Øs a celebration: The Public Relations Student Society of America will hold its Spring Banquet at 7:45 p.m. in the University Hilton°Øs Flamingo Room. The organization will recognize the chapter°Øs most dedicated community leaders. Tickets to the banquet are $10 per person for PRSSA members and their guests and $20 for faculty and other professionals. For more information, e-mail prssauh@yahoo.com.

What could be cooler than chillin°Ø at Hermann Park, eating barbecue and playing games with friends? Maybe taking a ride on some sort of futuristic hover-motorcycle, but don°Øt get your hopes up about that: Impact Movement UH will have an end of the year party from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hermann Park.
