News Campus Crime Report The following is a partial report of campus crime Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. All information is selected from the files of the UH Police Department. The information in italics indicates when the event was reported to UHPD and the event's location. Information or questions regarding the cases below should be directed to UHPD at (713) 743-0600. Burglary of a Motor Vehicle: 8:03 a.m. Monday, Cullen Oaks Apartments ? Several unattended, secured vehicles were burglarized in the unsecured gated area of the Cullen Oaks Apartments parking garage. Three unidentified males, observed on video surveillance, are believed to be suspects. An investigation is ongoing. Occurred between 1:34 and 2:23 a.m. Monday. Theft: 1:50 p.m. Monday, M.D. Anderson Library ? A student reported someone stole his unattended and unsecured textbook while he was in the rest room in the M.D. Anderson Library. There are no suspects. Occurred between 1:40 and 1:44 p.m. Monday. Theft: 12:41 a.m. Tuesday, Cullen Oaks Apartments ? A UH student reported that her ex-boyfriend took her cell phone without her consent and left the scene. The cell phone was returned and the complainant did not wish to file charges. Occurred between 12:41 and 12:45 a.m. Tuesday. Criminal Mischief: 3:28 p.m. Tuesday, Bayou Oaks Apartments ? A student reported that an unknown individual scratched his secured and unattended vehicle while it was parked in the residential parking lot of Bayou Oaks Apartments. There are no witnesses or suspects. Occurred between 11:30 p.m. Sunday and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. Traffic Offense: 4:03 p.m. Tuesday, University Business Park ? A staff member reported that while his secured and unattended vehicle was parked in the UH Business Park visitors parking lot it was struck by another vehicle and the driver failed to leave the required information. There are no witnesses and no suspects. Occurred between 1:15 and 4 p.m. Tuesday. Traffic Offense: 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, Lot 15B ? A UH student reported that someone struck her unattended and legally parked vehicle and the driver failed to leave the required information. There are no suspects or witnesses. Occurred between 8 a.m. and 4:10 p.m. Tuesday. Disorderly Conduct: 3:39 a.m. Wednesday, Bates Residence Hall ? A visitor reported that she and her student boyfriend argued and started pushing each other. Both students were issued a Class C citation for disorderly conduct.
