With a staff of about 20 business
and communication students, the American Advertising Federation organization
has developed a student-run advertising agency.
Navy ad drive unfurls its sails
Honor, courage and commitment --
these are the three principles that Cougar Concepts, an advertising applications
class offered by the School of Communication, will implement in its campaign
for the U.S. Navy.
Trip will put faith into action
United Campus Ministries and United
Methodist Wesley Foundation invite students to participate in a faith-based
conference and disaster relief in New Orleans over winter break.
Scuffle at venue generates Web
publicity
A camera-phone video recording of
brawl at a local music venue, which occurred on Oct. 13, has brought attention
to a different form of journalism.
