Perry vows unity
after re-election
Gov. Rick Perry put away his opponents
gubernatorial hopes Tuesday night as he was re-elected by voters and pointed
Texas toward "a limitless future."
Dems gain control of House after
12 years
The event Democrats have been anticipating
and Republicans dreading for the past 12 years has come to pass -- the
GOP is no longer the top party on the Hill as Democrats claimed control
of the U.S. House of Representatives with a 23 seat gain in Tuesday's election
as of press time, well over the necessary 15.
Trouble with electronic voting
spurs several inquiries
Nationwide problems at the polls were
reported throughout Tuesday, including long lines and lost votes due to
glitches with electronic voting machines.

to take a walk
Faculty, staff and students are invited
to participate in the Walk in the Dark tour to explore areas in need of
additional lighting and extra security at 8:30 p.m. today.
