UH to play Southern Miss Friday

COUGAR SPORTS SERVICES

Houston will face Southern Miss in the second annual Conference USA championship game scheduled to kickoff at 7:00 p.m. Friday at Robertson Stadium.

Southern Miss (8-4, 6-2 C-USA) clinched the C-USA East division with a 42-7 win over Marshall on Saturday, picking up its fourth consecutive win in the process.

Houston (9-3, 7-1 C-USA) clinched the C-USA West division Nov. 11 after rallying from a second half 10-point deficit to defeat Southern Methodist 37-27 in Dallas.

Students can purchase tickets for $10.00 while upper end zone general admission tickets are available for $20.00. Patrons can purchase sideline and lower end zone reserved tickets for $30.00. Premium seating tickets for the game are $50.00. 

Tickets for the game are available at the ticket office located in the Athletic/Alumni Center during normal business hours between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The game will be televised nationally on ESPN 2 and can be heard live on 790 AM The Sports Animal one hour prior to kick-off.
