News Tail sales to promote spirit Proceeds will go to Graduate College of Social Work groups COUGAR NEWS SERVICES The Graduate College of Social Work Alumni Association and the GCSW Student Association are selling "Cougar Tails" in an effort to bolster school spirit for the Conference USA football championship game Friday. Cougar Tails -- designed to resemble a cougar's tail and made from material similar to that of plush toys -- are being marketed as a way to show school pride. "It doesn't matter if you wear it on your backpack, hang it on your purse strap, sling it from your gas tank or wave it at the UH versus (Southern Miss) championship game -- just strut your tail and show your Cougar pride," Ann Liberman, GCSW director of alumni relations, said. "It's all about fun, Cougar spirit and supporting the missions of the GCSW Alumni and Student Associations." Profits from Cougar Tail sales will go to the GCSW alumni and student organizations. Cougar Tails can be purchased for $6 each on the second floor of the Graduate College of Social Work Building or online at www.sw.uh.edu. Liberman said there is only a limited supply of the
memorabilia available.
