The end of the semester is nearing, and the end of
year will soon follow. Members of The Daily Cougar have compiled a list
of what they consider the best acts -- music, film, TV and such --
that made 2006 one for the records.
The past year brought memorable film -- good and
bad -- and a myriad of album choices and events. Not many can say they
witnessed the marring of spinach's name, Mel Gibson's shining moment or
when independent candidates were able to stick it to the Man.
This year delivered some entertaining stories such
as Britney's divorce or when Sen. Ted Stevens said the Internet was a series
of tubes. This year won't be forgotten -- at least until the next year.
