Course to study women
The Spring semester course Women in Politics, POLS 3390, will give students the chance to learn about the impact of women have had on our nation's policies.
 

UH reduces waste, costs
Organizations at the University of Houston that handle waste have lowered their amount of disposal and cost over the past year through different recycling and packaging processes.
 

Tour discussed peaceful Middle-East solution
A former Israeli Captain, Yonatan Shapira, and a former Palestinian guerilla, Sulaiman Khatib, said non-violence is the way to end the Middle-East conflict in a talk Monday at the University Center.
 

Speaker to discuss benefits of health communciation for minorities
Mohan Dutta, associate professor at Purdue University, will discuss how the academic health communication world is handling health issues among under-represented groups, such as minorities and women, from noon to 1:15 p.m. today in the Rockwell Pavilion at M.D. Anderson Library.
 

SOC looks for ways to improve
The Student Government Association is working in conjunction with faculty and alumni to collectively improve the School of Communication and the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences.
