News Campus Crime Report The following is a partial report of campus crime between Nov. 19 and Monday. All information is selected from the files of the UH Police Department. The information in italics indicates when the event was reported to UHPD and the event's location. Information or questions regarding the cases below should be directed to UHPD at (713) 743-0600. Criminal Trespass: 1:45 p.m. Nov. 19, Cullen Oaks Apartments -- A student reported that someone entered her possibly unsecured vehicle in the Cullen Oaks Apartments parking garage. No forced entry was made nor was any property stolen. There are no suspects. Occurred between 3 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Nov. 19. Possession of a Controlled Substance: 2:29 p.m. Nov. 22, University Center -- A UH student and visitor attempted to sell illegal drugs to a plain clothes UH Department of Public Safety officer. The student was arrested and charged with possession and intent to deliver a controlled substance and then transported to the Harris County jail. The visitor was issued a criminal trespass warning and released. Occurred between 2:29 and 2:55 p.m. Nov. 22. Burglary of a Motor Vehicle: 2:48 p.m. Nov. 22, Lot 8C -- A student reported that someone burglarized his unattended and secured vehicle and stole his in-dash CD player. There are no suspects. Occurred between 5 p.m. Nov. 21 and 1:45 p.m. Nov. 22. Public Intoxication: 8:31 p.m. Nov. 22, Moody Towers -- A student injured himself at Moody Towers due to his level of intoxication. Houston Fire Department transported the individual to Ben Taub Hospital. The individual will receive a Harris County citation for public intoxication and Student Life and Residential Life Referrals. Occurred at 8:25 p.m. Nov. 22. Theft: 6:06 p.m. Thursday, Philip Guthrie Hoffman Hall -- A visitor was arrested for the theft of food items from Einstein Brothers Bagels. The visitor was issued a criminal trespass warning and a Class C citation for theft. Occurred at 6:06 p.m. Thursday. Theft: 6:29 p.m. Saturday, Taub Hall -- An Online Offense report was completed by a student in reference to the theft of his unattended, secured bicycle and accessories from the bike rack in front of Taub Hall. Occurred sometime between Oct. 29 and Saturday. Theft: 10:08 p.m. Sunday, Settegast Hall -- A UH student reported that his unattended, secured bike and lock were stolen from the courtyard side of Settegast Hall. There are no suspects. Occurred between 9 a.m. Nov. 21 and 6 p.m. Sunday. Burglary of a Building or Habitation: 12:52 a.m. Monday, Bayou Oaks Apartments -- Two students reported that someone entered their unsecured room without consent and stole a Sony PlayStation, games and an XBox console. An investigation is ongoing. Occurred between 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Indecent Exposure: 9:02 a.m. Monday, M.D. Anderson Library -- A visitor was arrested for indecent exposure and transported to the Harris County jail. Occurred between 9 and 9:02 a.m. Monday. Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: 10:54 p.m. Monday, Moody Towers -- The UH area coordinator of Moody Towers reported a smell of marijuana coming from a room in the Moody Towers South.
