Students contest rising 
textbook costs
Many students anticipate high textbook prices every semester, and when professors turn in textbook orders on time, it allows students to prepare their purchases in a timely manner and budget accordingly.
 

New teacher bonuses aren't fair
Teachers' pay has long been the subject of vigorous debate, but now the Houston Independent School District has taken the question to a new level of antipathy and infuriation with its new performance-based bonus plan.
 

Cougars given a chance to shine
St. Louis holds the key. As a result of its 77-61 win over Marshall, UH extended its winning streak to three games and improved its record to 9-9 and 4-2 in Conference USA. 
 

MIA acts return to the scene fiercely
Modest Mouse, the band that had a hit song in 2004 with "Float On," is going to release a new album March 20 titled We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank.
