UH has strong showing at Dan DeHart Invitational

COUGAR SPORTS SERVICES

Junior Kolee Latson and senior Ebonie Floyd brought home individual titles as the Cougars placed second in the women's team competition and fourth in the men's team competition on the final day of the Dan DeHart Invitational in Albuquerque, NM.

Floyd's 60-meter victory in 7.35 seconds was her second of the season. Junior Seun Adigun ran a 7.66 second sixth place finish. 

Latson won the 400 meters in 48.28 seconds. while freshman Justin Perez finished fifth (49.24) After qualifying for the 60-meter hurdle finals Friday, Adigun earned a third place time of 8.67 in the finals and sophomore LeeA'ndrea Robinson finished sixth. Junior Tremaine Smith also earned a spot for the finals in the 60-meters Friday, with a 6.91 second fourth place finish. 

In the relay races, the men's team won the 4x400 meter relay in 3:14.32. The women's squad finished second in 3:44.80. In the distance medley relay the women's team placed second and the men's placed fourth.

In the field events Ivan Diggs placed third in the high jump after leaping 2.11m/6-11.00 and senior Tristian Whitley finished 10th clearing 2.01m/6-07.00.
