Campus Crime Report

The following is a partial report of campus crime between Thursday and Saturday. All information is selected from the files of the UH Police Department. The information in italics indicates when the event was reported to UHPD and the event's location. Information or questions regarding the cases below should be directed to UHPD at (713) 743-0600.

Theft: 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Architecture Building -- A UH student reported someone stole her unattended and secured bike from the bike rack outside the Architecture Building. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time. Occurred between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday. 

Possession of drug paraphernalia: 8:13 p.m. Thursday, Entrance 6 -- Three visitors were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia when they were found in possession of a marijuana pipe. UH police filed no charges. The males were released to the Houston Police Department for charges. 

Theft: 11:40 a.m. Friday, Bates Law Building -- A student reported that he left his laptop unattended and unsecured when he went outside to smoke and the laptop was missing when he returned. Occurred between 10:50 and 11:20 a.m Friday. 

Criminal trespass: 6:40 p.m. Friday, Entrance 14 -- Two visitors were arrested for criminal trespass and transported to Harris County jail. Occurred between 6:40 and 7:15 p.m. on Friday.

Public intoxication: 2:02 a.m. Saturday, Cullen Oaks Apartments -- A UH student was found intoxicated in public in Cullen Oaks Apartments. The student was taken into custody and later released to his parents. The student was issued Student Life and Residential Life referrals.
