Campus Crime Report

The following is a partial report of campus crime between Tuesday and Thursday. All information is selected from the files of the UH Police Department. The information in italics indicates when the event was reported to UHPD and the event's location. Information or questions regarding the cases below should be directed to UHPD at (713) 743-0600. 

Disorderly conduct: 9:41 a.m. Tuesday, Melcher Hall — A UH student worker at the Career Services Desk at Melcher Hall was called vulgar names by an unknown male. An investigation is ongoing. Occurred Tuesday between 4 and 4:30 p.m. 

Harassment: 11:50 p.m. Tuesday, Bayou Oaks Apartments — A UH student reported that someone has been harassing her by telephone. An investigation is ongoing. Occurred between 3 a.m. Jan. 30 and 12:10 a.m. Tuesday. 

Assault: 2:04 p.m. Wednesday, A.D. Bruce Religion Center — A UH student reported a known male student fondled her breast at the A.D. Bruce Religion Center. An investigation is under way. Occurred on Wednesday afternoon. 

Mental health emergency: 2:22 a.m. Thursday, Texas Learning and Computation Center 2 annex — A suspicious person was seen sitting on the stairs behind TLC2. The individual was found to be a danger to himself and suffering from a mental illness. The individual was transported and released to the Neuropsychiatry Center.
