Retailer's anti-war
scarf sales unjust
Corporations that capitalize on cultural
garments are now embracing the black and white keffiyeh, a headscarf worn
by Palestinians and made famous by the late Palestinian president, Yasser
Arafat.
Language evolution is good
-- to an extent
Many of today's college upperclassmen
and recent graduates grew up in the infant years of instant messaging when
it was perfectly acceptable to ask what "lol," "omg" or the slightly sleazy
"asl" meant.
